You have a few options. If your computer came with somehting called a "recovery utility" you can use this to restore the computer to factory state. If not, then your only option would be to reinstall Windows 98 from a disc. If they gave you one with your PC, then just put it in when the computer turns on. When you upgrade Windows, it does not easily allow you to roll the version back, so inserting the disc with the computer on will not work. Insert it before the computer starts up, or as soon as you hit the ON button, and then the message "boot from CD" will appear. Go from there.

You can get a new computer at Best buy or CompUSA for about 200 bucks after rebates.. Downgrading a computer is easy.. Completely reformat your hard drive and stick the windows 98 CD in.. Remember one thing though.. You will not be able to use any of the latest software that was designed for anything abouve 98!

make sure you have a full version of windows 98, re-format the hard drive and start all over. Ofcourse everything will be lost...next question

To uninstall information superhighway Explorer 7 to return to information superhighway Explorer 6 on homestead windows XP click "start up," and then click "administration Panel." click "upload or do away with classes." examine "practice Updates" on the best of the verbal substitute container. Scroll down the checklist and spotlight the version of information superhighway Explorer 7 which you're working, and then click "exchange/do away with." Uninstall that,restart your computing device and you're on IE6

you format the hard drive then install the OS from the floppy, CD ect. u usually boot the CPU from the CD then it says would u like to format the drive? say yes and choose the FAT 32...or anything that is fat....then when it is all erased.....install the new OS
