So every year, me and my boyfriend take a road trip. Last year we went to Orlando and Cocoa Beach, the year before we went to Myrtle Beach. We have been thinking about New York or California. So any ideas for sight seeing, beaches, etc? We live in Iowa, so we really don't see alot of landmarks, museums, etc. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

California has so much diversity it would be hard to see everthing in one trip. Lake Tahoe and Yosemite are great. San Francisco is fun Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Fishermans Wharf. Hollywood/ L.A. is a fun place to hangout. Universal Studios, Disneyland, the Getty museum.

You like long drives?? I spent all my childhood vacations on road trips so I know what fun they can be. The Grand Canyon is nice, Also Yellowstone. What about Toas, NM
I only know the west coast, there's a lot to see out here. San Francisco is fabulous, a beautiful city and then you can drive down the coast to the Santa Cruz boardwalk, then on to Monterey, to the Montery Bay Aquarium.

new york is nice but i like to travel west. it seems like there is something to see everywhere going west. my husband and i drove to las vegas one summer and saw quite a bit of neat things. we even seen a sign somewhere either in wyoming or utah about the Continental divide i thought that was pretty interesting in its self. also during august every year you can go to sturgis and see the thousands of bikers that gather for a week of crazy parties and awe striking behavior if thats your sort of thing. also there is an occasional celebrity citing as well. one year it was dennis rodman, another year halk hogan and jay leno. and if you did go out that way you could see mount Rushmore and devils tower in wyoming.

Well I would just like to say I think you should go to California. My mom said that when she went to NY, the air was really humid and smelled like oil and stuff. She said it was really hard to get used to. OH, she also said it rained a lot. Hope you have a fun time!

Well, in S.C. there is an Island called Hilton Head Island. It's very beautiful there but you have to reserve the villas ahead of time because they go fast. But you should still have time for this upcoming season! :-)
