I am now pregnant and my ex partner had undergone a sperm count - it came out negative. he had a vasectomy 7 years ago. would this mean i am in the clear and the father is my husband and not my ex partner???

Um...how long ago did you last have sex with your 'ex-partner?' Timing is an issue as well. If you've been having sex with both your husband and a so-called 'ex' recently enough and within such a short period of time that you're not sure who the father is - well, you've got bigger problems than knowing who the father is.

Only DNA test will tell the truth. People have gotten pregnant after a vasectomy. It takes more to be a father than a sperm donor

If your expartner had a negative sperm count, then it would seem to me that the baby is your husbands.
Sad sad state of affairs.
P.S. Did your ex have a recent sperm count or was it 7 yrs. ago?
