if i absolutely HAD to put a label on them i would say punk. id actually go for post-punk.

I put them in the KROQ genre (I guess only familiar to those in LA, even though KROQ has a "world famous KROQ slogan" lol) with other songs like the detachable penis song, the "all i want is a pepsi" and the united states of whatever song. But that's just me.

No, they are more folky rock, indie rock. And since I own every album they ever made, and have seen them live way way way back in the day, I can say with all my heart, not psychedelic.

No........They are in the same genre as New York Dolls were......Right before disco really hit...... Thy;re not rock, or hard rock either......They're up there with NICO and the Dolls..........

Seriously, probably mod-rock or emo, their songs vary in style sometimes, so it's hard to put them into 1 genre.
