Is it right for my future wife to talk about her girl best friend most of the time when we spend time together? They work in the same place which they work 8 hours a day. Im feeling like im being replaced or like if her best friend is taking my spot. Am I over reacting?

What do people talk about the most...?
That which is most on their mind.
What is most on someone's mind, when one communicates after working for 8 hours?
The 8 hours that just ended.

Do you talk about YOUR work alot? Men, however, don't have "best friends" at work, so you likely don't talk about "what you did with a person" - rather "what happenned at work" surrounding several people and circumstances.

I think you are over-reacting.

Think about this:
When two people (strangers) meet, and a conversation takes place, they will depart with one of two feelings:
1) What a nice guy. I'd like to talk more with him; or
2) What a jerk! Glad I don't have to talk to him any more.

The feeling is in most cases based on who the conversation was centered on. If the person was permitted to talk alot about himself, he will think #1 - if the conversation centered on the OTHER person, it will be #2, and the other guy will think #1.

Let her talk! She will find you to be very sensitive and a good listener, and women love that.

If she is your future wife that means you have known her for a long time. Are you saying that you let her go on about this woman without pointing out to her that you are in the room also? Why complain now? Clearly, she has taken on her best friend's life in the sense that her own is not very interesting. That includes you. If you were interesting or had an interesting career of past she would want further info. If she had a life and was involved in the world today you would want further info. Apparently the two of you are socially and emotionally immature and perhaps you better call off the engagement and go into therapy to learn how to communicate.
What qualities does she have that would make her a future wife? If you can't list a half dozen off the top of your head then you are just going through the moves to get someone who will cook, clean and iron. I suspect that she is a "future wife" in your mind only. What do you suppose is going through her mind when you do not interject and pose the question, "Why are you always talking about that woman?" Afraid of the answer?

I would say yes and no. She is around her 8 hours a day. I would most likely feel jealous also. Talk to her about it and let her know that your feeling a little left out and also try to feel fortunate that she wants to share her day with you even if it does include a lot of her best friend.

YES, YOU ARE OVER REACTING, ALL GIRLS HAVE A BEST FRIEND, SHE IS JUST LETTING YOU KNOW ABOUT HER AND HER BEST FRIEND, YOU HSOULD BE THANKFUL THAT SHE TELLS YOU THE INFORMATION, SINCE SHE IS GOING TO BE YOUR WIFE PRETTY SOON. DONT GET JEALOUS, SHE SEES HER BECAUSE SHE WORKS WITH HER THATS ALL. YOU NEED TO REMEMBER THAT JEALOUSY IS NOT A GOOD THING ON A RELATIONSHIP. WELL GOOD LUCK TO BOTH. AND CONGRATS!

Yes, we women enjoy our friends. They are a very important part of our lives. She is being open with you and sharing what is going on in her life. That is a good thing. Relax, everything is cool.

Yes, if they are around each other all the time, she will always think about her.
