i don't know. it makes me cry everyday to think about how we are doing more harm than good there, and out president is too proud to admit that we are losing. we are the real terrorists. they are only retaliating because we have invaded their home and disrespected their rights as humans.

We do not make a practice of killing civilians in Iraq. You won't hear it from the media, but most Iraq civilians are glad we are there. We have built schools and now girls get to go to the schools. Craftsmen there have built statutes in American soldiers honor, Solders pass out gifts to the children. There are web sites were you can send your toys etc. to be given to the children. No more will Saddam be putting people in leaf shredders or acid, or beating the bottoms of athletes feet, or raping women. Hundreds of men and women and reenlisted because of the good they are doing there, even in the face of danger. Wake up and read something or watch something besides the liberal media.

Because America is a selfish country run by an egotistical little monkey with a small dick who thinks that he controls the world.

Don't be offended though, I am from Australia and we are a part off this war too, and it all boils down to the same problem...... Our leader is an demented f**kwit, much the same as yours, who thinks that following America and Great Britain into every battle is a smart move.

Bravo George Bush and Little Johnny!!! May your family never have to suffer like those of the innocent Iraqi's.

Um, because that's what people do during a war. This is not a new phenomenon. In any case, I think the Iraqis are doing a better job of killing their own civilians.

Maybe you're just in the wrong part of America. No blind eyes in my neck of the woods. It's just harder to get the govt to hear us, and the days of people actually unifying and holding major protests ended in the 60's.

War is a terrible thing. Yet it has always existed and always will. I don't think people necessarily turn a blind eye to it ... they simply accept it as a tragedy of life.

Because the Pentagon learned its lesson from Vietnam, and censors all the news from Iraq. They keep that stuff out. Out of sight, out of mind for the American sheeple...

They're not white, they not christians, so the Yanks don't care.

"Body bags and dropping bombs,
The pentagon knows how to turn us on
Wargasm wargasm one, two, three
Pit bull pit bull ecstacy
Wave those flags high in the air
As long as it takes place over there"
- L7, "Wargasm" (1991)

If we are just citizens what can we do about it? The government does not listen to it's people unless it's election time.
