Don't do it! For one those skateboards are awful, I am serious. If you try to learn on one you may end up hateing skateboarding. You are better off going to a Used Sports Equipment place or getting one on Ebay. Unlike some things, the difference here is huge.
If you want a new one, try the plain decks or black label, from California Cheap Skates or Sessions.
Also if you care, Walmart has a horrible track record for human rights abuses, including buying from countless sweatshops. Those boards may be cheaper, but its a moral choice too.

If you plan on skateboarding regularly do NOT get a Walmart or any other department store board. Even the higher price ones $50 or more are poor quality.
Spend the little extra or buy a used one from a friend. I own a skateshop in WA state. I have seen a 6 year old break a walmart board. if you plan shopping on line go to www.thesk8spot.com free shipping and the lowest prices ive seen online

hahaha. Dont get a walmart board. Trust me. You have to push every 10 feet even going down hill. Go here and just get a complete. Its better. way better.

They start at $10.00 and up depending on the type and quality.
We got two of the boys one each for Christmas,they really are quite inexpensive.
