Yes, of course. For a healthy couple, the average pregnacy rate after a year of unprotected sex is 80%. Most women are only fertile for 2 days per month, which is the basis for the Rhythm method of birth control. There are good reasons to use protection beside birth control, though.

of course. a woman can only get pregnant when she is ovulating. if you have unprotected sex during that time, or very soon before or very soon afterwards then she can get pregnant, as sperm can only live for a given period of time in the body. I'm not an expert and i don't know how long that is but it is no more than two or three days at the most. this is not meant to encourage you do have unprotected sex, however. there are worse risks than pregnancy. pregnancy should be a blessing, not an accident. aids is deadly and other std's can ruin your life. understand? okay? cool.

solid: you've both been talking. you've both agreed on what takes position if birth control fails. Questions: have you ever both been examined and given a sparkling bill of well-being? Does she strictly note her contraceptive dosage routine and take it mutually each and each day? Are you both keen to briefly bypass decrease back to condoms for a cycle if she misses a dose? have you ever both EXPLICITLY agreed to be monogamous or to apply condoms with the different companions? Are you 2 open and trusting adequate to actual talk any mess united statesinside the monogamy settlement with out it being a relationship-ending disaster? Does she actively dislike little ones and demonstrate a honest quantity of opt to not have any? in case you answer no to any of those, you're exposing your self to a chance. i'm severe about this. See the J. sex Res precis linked below. basically fifty 2% of couples had both companions explicitly agreeing to be monogamous, and 29% of those youthful couples who did have breached it.

Yes, it is possible to have unprotected sex and not get pregnant, but I would not rely on that. Always use some form of protection. It is possible to get pregnant even when you aren't trying, and even when you don't think your ovulating.
