I would tell the boy's mother that he has stolen it from you. If she says it is his, ask her to produce (show you) the receipt for it. If this doesn't work, or you are afraid to do it, perhaps you could have your school counselor talk to the boy's parents for you. There are no excuses for not returning what belongs to you. Good luck.

You and your friend need to go to the office and report this boy. Your friend needs to tell them what exactly happened so they can get all the information so they can handle the matter. Report it as soon as you can !!! He needs to return your mp3 player and I'm sure the staff will get it back for you. What a little punk this boy is taking a mp3 player from a girl !!!

Tell him that you already told your mom and that she is getting ready to call the police unless he gives it back. Tell him your mom is freaking out and she's really mad and that there is nothing you can do to stop her from calling the cops. Hopefully that will scare him into giving it back. If not, you have to go ahead and call the cops for real and make a report. He stole it, that's what you do when someone steals something.

Usually, by reckless thought, kick him at the groin to tell him you mean it....

...... but since we like to do it in a mature manner before using that as a very last resort, haven't you gone to tell this to the school (counsler, prinicipal, etc)? That would be obviously best thing to do. If not, tell your mom to meet this boy in person. If that doesn't work, resort to the cops... and if that doesn't work.... well, I leave that to you. But I'm sure that at least telling it to the school should be enough trouble for him...

Just bash him in front of the people and insist him to get it back.
If not, tap him in such a way that he couldnt but give you the mp3 player.
You have big patience in your mind!

Call the police, or go to the police officer that is likely already in your school and tell him, or her. That should get it back for you.

Have your mom either call his mom or go to his house to talk to his mom. I have kids, if my kids stole something and someone called and told me 1st they would return whatever it is they stole 2nd they would have to deal with me after that. Moms can get really pissy and scary.
