Rappers have women(mostly black women) half naked dancing in their videos and then called them out of their names and everyone act like its all good. Its crazy and thats why these young kids doing understand how to treat women because of what they see and hear on TV & radio.

Im an 23 year old black young man and its sad when I hear other young men talk bad about women because of what they heard in an rap song or how they see women on videos. When I start having kids, I don't want my little girls to get mistreated by no one because I'll kill them.

You got that right T-bird, Not only is this degrading to black woman but the youth see this and think it's O.K. to act like there heroes. These people could do a good thing with there popularity like instill strong social values instead of gang mentality. God love ya!

I agree. And its true these women choose to do this but I dont wanna turn the channel to see some ladies or what the call bitches and there *** and **** hanging out everywhere. Its everywhere, not just music videos. Its like you cant even watch a movie without girls taking there tops off (sometimes for no reason). And its strange how its ok to see women naked all over the place but you never see a man. Maybe a butt now and then. Its ridiculous.

I agree with you. But there are rappers out there who refuse to put video girls in their videos, that kind of rap isn't mainstream. What you're talking about happens to be what’s cool right now and it's sad that black women are depicted that way. And don't blame the rappers; the women are stupid for degrading themselves like that. Some girls would love to be a video hoe.

I could not agree with you more. It's sad to see people acting in a manner that's degrading to anyone and I think these videos degrading men as well. They all look like damn dogs in heat that cant control themselves.

It also makes me sad to see our kids buying into this crap. No wonder we have so much domestic violence, rape, unwanted pregnancies and abortions. Rap didn't start it, but is sure as hell perpetuates it.

I agree with you

I've always wondered why those women who appear in the videos agree on doing such horrible things, and agree on being called such names...

I think most rappers should be aware that women are not objects, they're the most beautiful thing in the world, and they deserve respect

I agree, but not just rap music. I think a lot of music videos degrade women.

Alot of the new Heavy Metal music does the same thing, and those girls(in videos') get paid well ,black ,white, Asian whatever.
I think it's the parents' job to make sure their son know's how to treat a lady(I have a 13yr son)I try very hard to make sure he know's how to be a gentleman.

Why some women think this degrading music is okay behooves me. Any woman with a sense of respect and dignity would not find these lyrics good.

True, and strangely enough, young women seem to want to emulate the women in the videos. Go figure.
