My mom wants to find out someones background information because they want to rent. So She came to me to find out but i dont know. So im hopeing someone in here can tell me. Thanks Alot.

You should hire a company that runs background checks. Call a large property managment service in your city and ask them who they use. Also you might try a collection agency, sometimes they will run those sort of checks. Depending on where you are there will be a fee of probably $40.00-$75.00

There are various companies in the phone book that do this service. You must have a signed permission from the perspective tenant. You need to sign up with the company ahead of time and be approve. They will want proof that you own the property, etc. Background checks are a GREAT way to screen tenants. I put "comprehensive background check" in my ads for the rental. Most won't even call you. Occasionally one will try and sneek thru. At least you get their $35. I charge $35 and they only cost $15. The agency you work with can provide permission slips for the tenant to sign.

do an application fee which will cover ur time to read it and do their credit report.... find out what it cost to run credit and charge them if they don't wnat to do the applicaton and have there credit ran and pay for it then they are not worth it.... most of the time if thye have to do a little work and know ur going to be looking at their credit they will not come back sometimes.
