You might just want to tell them nicely you're not that interested in hearing about the past.....it would sure be enough to shut ME up.
Before you can say that, ;=)) , I'd like to tell you that, altho I very much live in the here and now, I loved the 60s, brings back great memories for me.

My sister brings up high school and people from high school and all the stupid things we did in high school. I can actually say it's been over 10 years, get over it, but some people just live in the past. I just don't humor her.

I really dont know what to say
Im dealing with the same thing. My husband keeps throwing my past mistakes in my face. It really hurts and ticks me off. But yet he cheated on me and still hasnt confessed. He still denies it. do i throw that in his face? No. But im the biggest loser in his eyes.But the feelings mutual!

tell them the past is in the past theres nothing you can do to change it live in the present thats what counts and what matters
