One of the oldest names for a hen is Henrietta and I am not sure where it comes from.
I have 11 hens and 2 roosters myself but I have only really named one rooster because a 5yr old neighborhood boy asked me what's that chicken's name as he pointed to my best rooster and off of the top of my head I called him Robbie Rooster which has seemed to stick.
It would be hard to come up with a name without knowing the hen. . .each one of my hens has their own personality.
One is kinda nosey, one is timid, one is skittish etc
Look at your hen's personality and I am sure a good name will come.
P.S. I have 6 Ducks. 2 Drakes and 4 Hens. My 3yr granddaughter and I named them. . . Quakers,Bobber,
Waddles,Huey,Dewey and Bar B Que. . . . had one duck that died and it's name was AFLAC Ha Ha

Why do you have a pet chicken? If it's for the eggs, call it Aleggsandria. Will this chicken eventually be rotisseried? Then don't name it at all.
