zidane for headbutting

2007-01-06 17:37:19 · answer #1 · answered by cookie 4 · 2 6

all you idiots who are saying ronaldinho or zidane were the worst players are clueless. first of all as a couple of people have already mentioned, zidane won the golden ball for best player of the cup so how could you ever say he was the worst. yes he made a bad decision when he headbutted matarazzi, but you can't really blame him if you saw what matarazzi called him, and in the heat of the game and all that. anyways, yes ronaldinho may have been dissappointing because he did not play as great or with the excitement he normally does, but think of all the pressure he had on his shoulders... brazil being favorites to win the cup again... him being two years in a row the fifa player of the year.... etc.... if you want to name a worst player, i'm going to have to say to look at USA. Team USA was full of talent in the world cup, but look at how far they got. they scored a grand total of 1 goal, and achieved 1 pt. They are by far the most dissapointing team of the tournament, and their key players like McBride, Donovan, and Beaseley are among the worst. ok now, if i had to choose one of them i would say donovan just because he is the leader of the team and he is probably the best player on that team, and he certainly did not show that this past world cup.

I do not believe there is any one in England who thinks Beckham is remotely as good as the hype that surrounds him is huge and many people right here reckon that he must be taking part in for his position. Rooney was injured coming into the tournament and was nonetheless working his way again to fitness. He did pretty well beneath the instances (sending off apart obviously) and any person who watches him is aware of that he's a fantastically wonderful player who, given full fitness, may well have ended the tournament recounted as the first-class on the planet. Lampard used to be very negative nevertheless, but it wasn't simply the English who voted him as the world's 2nd exceptional participant this 12 months!

There really is no "worse player" because all of the players were put under severe pressure I guess but the player who completely disappointed me was Ronaldinho, I suppose he was pressured by all of the high expectations but I truly was surprised. I hope he will improve though in the next world cup.

Dudette, that's tough! I'd love to say I could answer such question and shove it on someone's face--but I figured the worst players in the World Cup 2006 were--the U.S. players. They are alot better than what they performed! Not even the star players like McBride, Donovan or Reyna scored! That was pure pathetic play! They just got one point throughout the thing and I feel bad to trash their image, but they were hopeless as compared to how well they did back in 2002. C'mon, who agrees with me?! People know it's the truth!

Kasper
Ronaldinho wasnt clueless on the pitch.
Parreira was clueless on the bench. Hes too much of a conservative tactician and doesnt let Brazil play the sexy flairy football its known for. When he won a WC for Brazil in 94, the team was the most UNLOVED of all championship Brazil teams.
Yes, Zidane was the best player in the cup(him or Cannovaro).
You just hate Ronnie cuz he beat Chelsea last season and hell do it again.

FOR THOSE OF U SAYING ZIDANE, I WONDER IF U KNOW ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT FOOTBALL, ZIDANE WAS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLDCUP, HE WON THE AWARD OF THE WORLD CUP'S BEST PLAYER (MVP), HE WAS PHENOMENAL AND THE BEST PLAYER THERE WHETHER U WANNA ADMIT IT OR NOT.
B4 U WRITE DOWN A COMMENT LIKE THAT, THINK ABOUT HOW STUPID IT WILL MAKE U LOOK, BECUZ IN THE CASE OF THOSE WHO SAID ZIDANE, IT MADE U LOOK MORE IGNORANT AND CLUELESS( ABOUT FOOTBALL) THAN EVER.

@ OH AND THE WORST PLAYER WAS RONALDINHO, HE WAS CLUELESS ON THE PITCH.
