I know nothing about html or anything about customizing my myspace account.I've tried numerous times to use different websites that claim to have codes. I try to read the direction they give me and cut & paste things in my about me section of my profile & sill to no avail does it work for me. What am I doing wrong? I just want something simple. go to myspace.com and then on a different internet page go to myspacefreehotlayouts
on myspace click on "edit profile" then
then go and browse the layouts when you find one you want highlight it and hit control and c at the same time (copy) and then in your personal interest or one of the places on your space click control and v (paste) then put

Ok, here's what ya gotta do...
When you get to a code copy it, then go back to your myspace profile. Paste it some where in your about me section. Where you paste it is where it will be on our page. then you need to save. Save is at the top of that page. then click on "home" it will not show up on this page. once you are there view your profile, under your pic is a button for it. click on that, and your public view will come up. that is what everyone else see's when they click on your profile. What ever you pasted should be there. good luck

Copying a code and pasting it to your "about me" section should work. There are a lot of websites out there that offer myspace layout codes and not one has failed me yet.
