I collect bottles as I like the history & shapes, I also collect Dragons for many different reasons.
I know people who collect "Red things", frog statues, encyclopedias, old books - many things.

People collect everything from stamps to coins, cars to airplanes. They enjoy searching for, then buying whatever it is they collect. If there is more than one of a thing, you can just about bet that someone is collecting it.
Interesting hobbies include knitting, model railroading, ceramics, woodworking, leather craft, scuba diving-anything a person enjoys doing when they are not working.

1. I have noticed people can collect anything and everything ..from match books to fine art.........why?..they like them or they associate these items with a time in their life or to an event...I have seen people collect rocks from each of the places they had been with their family.....
2. Painting,sewing,sculpting,etc...a hobby is something you enjoy doing..kind of like a labor of love...it is something you do to relax or just enjoy doing not for any particular purpose........
