Hulk hogan because if it was'nt for him we probably would'nt be on here talking about wrestling. He was'nt the greatest technical wrestler but he was sure fun to watch & cheer for.Plus some of the other guys you mentioned probably would'nt be in wrestling if it was'nt for the hulkster.

Uhh pal there actually are different eras of wrestling but its not known by those names.
1st Golden Era. This was before the early 80's and had wrestlers like Harley Race, Don Meraco, and Sanmartino.
2nd Golden Era. This was from the mid 80's to early 90's. This was the time of wrestlers like Hogan, Savage, Warrior, and Andre.
New Generation. This was from the early 90's to 1997. This era was lead by wrestlers like Micheals, Hart, Undertaker, and Diesel.
The Attitude Era. This was obviously the time between 1997 and 2001 which was lead by HHH, Austin, Rock, and Foley.
3rd Golden Era (it doesn't really have a name yet). This is the time that wrestling has gone through since Vince bought out WCW. This has been lead by wrestlers like Cena and Batista.

Now that that has been cleared up, there is no question that the best generation was the second golden era. Let's face it, this is the time when wrestling really started to become more main stream. Hogan gave kids a hero that they could look up to. This is when people really payed attention to wrestling but it was still about wrestling and not about "sports entertainment". This is when wrestling was at it's purest. The Attitude Era really brought the WWE back on the map, but I can't respect it because that is when the WWE became more about sports entertainment than it was about wrestling.

I don't think you can really separate wrestling into "eras" based on the names you listed. One era would be Hogan and the first time around for HBK; another era would be Stone Cold, The Rock, HHH, and the Undertaker; and another would be Cena.

Based on those 3 - I'd pick the one in which Stone Cold, The Rock, HHH, and Undertaker were all in their prime. Now that was when wrestling was really fun!

Neither, the Bret Hart Era. Bret Hart owned the era that Shawn Michaels was at his peak just like he owned the rivalry, that's probably why Shawn was always jealous of Bret and hated him so much. I hope that answers your question.

wasn't old enough for the hogan era, so i will go with the stone cold (Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ***!)"and the rock (if ya smellllll......what the rock....is....cookin) eras. Both were the smoothest smack talkers to ever step in a wwe ring.
