Colorado Springs and Denver have been hit hard. Surrounding areas are still cut off from the rest of the world and they had an avalanche today that officials say "is the worst ever."
Not to mention all the animals that are without food and the people without power.

I should say I live in Colorado Springs - it has been nice because many of the schools closed - We are on our third round of storms - my office at work has been closed several times, though since we couldn't help it, we still get paid. So yes, I enjoy it. It's just sad some people get stuck in it because they didn't stay home and safe.

I think the weather man got mixed up and all the snow that the east coast was supposed to get the whole winter got redirected to Colorado. We don't even need to wear long sleeves in NJ right now...

It's a fluke. It's fun and should be enjoyed. The people without power, well, they hopefully had kerosene lamps and fireplaces.
