My pelvic bone really hurt me too. I thought for sure that I was going into labor, But my doctor told me that It was because the baby is putting alot of weight down there, however if you are getting cramps then I would say Congratulations. Good Luck. Who knows, maybe this could be the real deal.

I am 31 weeks and going through the exact same thing. It hurts so bad to get up out of my chair, or off the couch, and especially out of bed. At work today I wanted to move this box on the floor, so I decided to push it with my foot instead of attempting to pick it up. Well it felt like someone punched me in the pelvic bone, and I couldn't even get the box to budge. I've read (in What to Expect When You're Expecting) that this feeling is due to our pelvic bones stretching and moving to get ready for birth, along with the pressure of the baby moving down. They say it's totally normal, but just in case I would let your doc know (so will I!). Good luck!

It doesn't necessarily mean that you're dilating...instead, that the baby is just getting more settled into your pelvis. In the last few weeks it really hurt for me to walk around, but the baby was only -1 station (even after 4 hours of labor!). (meaning: the head wasn't engaged in the pelvis yet.) So, it could mean nothing at all-- It just means you're getting closer to having the baby...and the baby's weight is taking a toll on your pelvis.

It really sounds like you're about to go into labor-- that's exactly how I felt before I went into labor. Until you have regular cramps, it's not labor. (But it definitely sounds like you're ready!)

Congrats! And go get some sleep!

I don't know. Your pelvic bone may just be hurting because the baby is dropping and putting more pressure there. I would concentrate more on the cramps and pressure there and in your lower back. If you're really worried about it call your doctor or even the L and D department at the hospital and see what they say.

I think you will see your beautiful little baby very soon.
You have started labor. When the cramps come closer together, then call your doctor.

it's false labor.
baby is just settling down getting ready for birth.
you can be dialated for 2 months before you actually go into labor.
sounds like the contractions are bh's too
'real' contractions are nothing like period cramps-they start in your lower back-work their way around front and go all up your belly.
it feels like someone is squeezing your insides together & about to rip them out.
they get stronger and they dont go away.
