Global warming is a load of crap. Mankind is too puny and insignificant to have any real effect on global temperatures, which have in any case cycled from a nearly arctic planet to a nearly tropical planet ever since the beginning of this old planet. IF we (mankind) are having any influence at all, it is to minute to register. In any case, global temperatures from the early 70's to about 2000 actually declined while the media was screaming about global warming.

NO! Ever hear of the Sun? It changes in cycles. It gets cooler,
it gets warmer. Modern science, paleontology, archeology etc. have shown that there has been global warming in our past, previous to the age of machines. So, who was responsible then. Global warming is a fact, but man is not a factor.

Yes it is. Go watch the movie An Inconveinant Truth. It'll tell you all about what will happen in the future for global warming. I think it is a huge problem because if Greenland or Antartica melts in the next 20 years the ocean will rise 20 feet!

Yes, it is a huge problem. in northeastern Ohio, we got to 61 on January 5, and we usually have around 30 as a high.

Also, there are all sorts of plants moving up here like tropical looking bushes, and palm trees. it's not natural, and its a big problem.

It is a big problem because once we allow it to progress to a certain level we will not be able to stop it. Some cities can become eliminated by the growing bodies of water

Yes - when pieces of the polar ice cap the size of Manhattan are falling off and melting, something is happening. Once those ice sheets which are over water melt, the ice sheet over Greenland could start to melt. This will be more dratsic as it is over land. This will raise the oceans - coastal cities will be lost. I love Boston, NYC and other coastal cities - so, yeah I thing this is pretty bad.

yup, to me i believe global warming is that serious. its all because of greediness and carelessness by the political leaders. I think that because they are really the 1s that can make a big change for example changing to nuclear power for their country.

Yes, I think it is. Because whether you subscribe to the global warming theory (which i do) or the cyclical warming scenerio...You can't tell me that pumping billions of tons of chemicals into our atmosphere is doing any good for our planet.
