Good luck! I live in Illinois and paid an attorney about $1000. to get support out of my ex husband. We went to court, they found him in contempt for not paying his support and he agreed to pay $10 dollars a payday on a huge arrears. Then he quit his job, the attorney died and I never got child support. What a friggin joke!

Good luck on this. You really have to hound the friend of the court. Call them daily and write letters to them weekly. Iss this a court ordered child support.

Notify child support agency in your state. Its listed in the phone book. That will be your first step. They will help you get his/her wages garnished. That way the payment comes directly out of their check. Good luck to you.
