I have static-cling stickers on my car from parking passes over the years and they are literally BAKED ONTO my windows, when I try to peel them, they flake and come off in tiny bits, or they don't come off at all! How can I remove these?

get a "widget", its a small plastic holder that holds a single razor blade. any lowes, home depot, walmart, kmart will carry this item. might be in home paint, might be in the car section.

take a towel, the widget and some window cleaner. lay the towel on the dash and shove it up against the window. soak down the stickers with window cleaner, excessive.

using the widget begin to scrape the stickers off. the dry flakes are now wet and will be collected in the window cleaning drops.

once you use a razor blade on glass...DO NOT FLIP OVER THE BLADE as this will scratch the glass. if you need a new blade, put a new one in it.

this is how detailers remove all window stickers from cars.

DO NOT USE PAINT SCRAPERS

DO NOT USE ALCOHOL OR LACQUERS

DO NOT USE HEAT

First use a razor blade to remove sticker. Then use goof off to remove residue. Next clean with windex and your done. Also useful for actual stickers on glass.

If the glass has defrost lines in it. Try loosening it with goof off on a towel so you won't mess up the defrost lines if you can feel them with your hands. If they are in the center of the glass, it is ok to use first procedure.

The razor won't scratch glass. Only diamonds do that :)
