okay..if a guy who isn't very good looking, like full of pimples on his cheeks..he's being approached by a girl who is quite attractive,the girl passed him a piece of paper with her number on it cause she wants to make friends with him..what are the chances of the guy getting back to this girl and will he think that she's playing a prank on him and not get back to her??

my cousin is a really attractive girl and she wants to get to know this guy whom she's seen many times but the problem is he isn't good looking with many pimples on his cheeks..he didn't even dare to look at my cousin and she passed him her number and it's been a week and he still hasn't gotten back to her...she's really sad but i don't know how i can help her..and i was thinking,maybe the guy thinks that she's too attractive and couldn't possibly like him so he thought it must be a prank or something,i've tried putting myself in HIS shoes and that was what i'll think if that happens..

Well, obviously your cousin doesn't agree with him not being attractive.....Or she wouldn't be attracted to him! He might just be shy..... He could have a girlfriend at church or in another school..... If he's insecure about his acne, he's probably assuming you girls are screwing with him and so he's not going to respond.
If your cousin is sincere.....Then tell her to keep trying, untill he says yea or nay! And by all means.... Do try the direct approach! It takes a little bit of courage... But it's the right way to go about it. Don't embarrass him or yourselves in the process (act mature about it). Your cousin deserves an answer.... and the guy deserves a chance to know she's for real....

Basically I think the first thing is that we have to know the guy character first. if he is someone who is shy, I think he probably will never make the first move. If he is someone outgoing, then it seems to be weird that he don't call your cousin till this stage unless he think that it is a prank. So I suggest that it is better for your cousin to clear the air with the guy and let him that this is not a prank and hopefully the guy can get the message and start calling your cousin.

I was put in a situation like that before and it was a prank and any ugly guy will think the same thing you got o get this guy to realize it isn't a prank because he'll go out with a hot chick in a heartbeat.

No offense to your cousin, but ever think that maybe he's not attracted to her. Not everyone is interested in looks alone.... Maybe he's more interested in someone brainier, or more athletic, or more philosophical or something like that... Just because he's not attractive to you doesn't mean he doesn't have desires, likes, and dislikes of his own.
