Here you go:

http://www.ncsl.org/programs/cyf/cousins.htm

But, remember that laws change constantly, and apparently this site is not up-to-date because it shows cousin marriages as being legal in Texas, but the law in TX changed (about 2 years ago I believe) and it’s no longer legal there.

Still, it's actually legal in many states, and despite what many people seem to believe, not all of them are southern states, although some states do have restrictions such as it’s only allowed if the couple is over a certain age/unable to bear children.

Now, do I *personally* think it's a good idea? H*ll, no. There are billions of people in the world. Surely you can find one to marry that you aren't related to.

Ok...sorry, but I am originally from WV, lived there 23 out of 25 years of my life and I came from southern WV which is very hick, and I know NO ONE who has married their first cousin....(no offense to the question asker, do what you want, it is not my business) I just feel the need to defend my home state which seems to be being bashed by uninformed people. I am sure that there are 1st cousins in WV who have married, but I am also sure that there are 1st cousins who have married wherever you are from.....

I don't know, but why would you want to? My ex husband is from Pakistan. There, many times first cousins do marry. And they also have at least one mentally disabled and screwed up child. Many times it's not even in their looks but in the very obvious signs of mental illness they display. Their children also tend to have more problems at birth and die more often. I remember when my mother in law died while we were there. When we went to the cemetary for the first time, there were way more bodies of babies and children buried than of adults. I could tell because of the way they do things. They bury them like we do, except they leave a hill about 2-3 feet above the grave itself. I was shocked completely. There are many others who do not have your bloodline. Try finding happiness with one of them.

Is this a serious question? Why would you want to marry your first cousin? That's weird. Maybe you should google it to find out.
