Ok Folks, here goes...My period usually runs atleast a week late and I use www.yourdays.com to give me some idea of when I can expect my little friend to arrive. So here's the thing. My last period was in November and it came on day 45 of my cycle. So by all rights, based on this 45 day cycle, my period should have started on Jan/2 but I am still waiting. What should I do? I know that most people's body's operate on a 30 day cycle So what should I do about this too?

I am not woozy or anything nor am i bloated but i did notice my boobs were a bit sore earlier today but they are not now. I don't want to go buy a Pregnancy Test because any other time I've bought them, they've always come back negative and I don't want to face that again.

the only way to really know for sure is to take a test.
there are a lot of reasons why your period could be late--added stress over the holiday season, lots of sex...

Birth control pills will regulate your cycle so you have your period every 28 days. If you think you might be pregnant, do an EPT test at home. See your OB/gyn about making your period more regular with a low dose birth control pill unless you are trying to get pregnant. If you are trying to have a baby you'll have to learn to monitor your temperature and ovulation.

Best of luck to you, take care.

Just go to your doctor and tell her/him this! And they'll give you a pregancy test....if it's neg ask them what you can do to help you become so!?!?! If it's pos, then ask them all you might need to know to first prevent a miscarriage and second how to better things for you and ur unborn! Good luck, best wishes!
