I would seriously doubt that, the Mitsubishi is nowheres near the same class as a Merceds SLK..... especially an S class.

No, not at all.
The Mercedes ride might not be worth what you pay for it (from the driver's standpoint, the Lotus Elise is a much smoother drive and ride), but it's still a bazillion times better than the Eclipse.

No way! Eclipse is cheap car and you can't compare it with SLK, because it's something as compare a Ford GT with Ford Fiesta.
SLK is luxury super car and Eclipse is only good looking car with good engine.
