They scatter around and sink. I wonder what would happen if the become unfrozen, do they come back alive?

It depends on the type of aquarium. Salt water would make it float and regular water sink because it is heavier than the medium you are putting it in.

It will float but sink as it thaws. You may find some will stay at the top of the water but they are the ones that are just the shell of the artemia. You may have to scoop them out if your fish will not eat them.

it should sink if it was mixed in with any type of liquid. If it is placed in the water in the water flow, then it will obviously be pushed around with the water.

it sinks, if you have strong filtration it will sink faster, and scater around the tank, which is good as it looks more natural
