when i try to sync songs on the media player with my psp it says..windows media player cannot play the file.if the file is on another computer,verify that you are connected to the network,if you typed a path verify that it is correct.if the problem persists,the server might not be avaliable.

Well i have a psp and i am able to download mp3 on it...i use the new windows Media player 11 which is really cool and also available for from the windows media web site.
And for the problem with the 'Cannot play file.....' than maybe the files have been shifted to a new location or have been deleted.....are you sync from play lists ? if yes try to preview the song before you sync...

More likely than not this is related to spyware built into Windows Media Player allegedly designed to combat illegal downloading. However, critics argue users have the right to download purchased songs from their computer to their psp. Stop downloading songs from WindowsMedia.com, Uninstall Windows Media Player, and install another media player such as Divx or Winamp. Warning: RealPlayer is worse than Windows Media Player. It will take over all your file associations, then when you uninstall it you will no longer be able to open them even though you purchased them! This is what "proprietary" software means.

I extremely have it besides the undeniable fact that that is purely too gradual for me so I hardly use it. Cool shades even with the shown fact that. I extremely have my music on I-TUNES. that could be a lot faster. so a strategies I`ve been in a position to function all yet 3songs. i think because of the fact of copyright rules or something. All 3 have been crimson Floyd tunes. It kinda sucks because of the fact they're MY cds. bought and paid for. as quickly because it became unable to settle on what became on the disc and gave me 2 possibilities. for sure I chosen what I paid for. I even have NERO which appearently won't reject something. Now my purely subject is area on my computer. i'm finished and have purely uploaded 25% of my cds. Winows Media participant is a lot TOO gradual!!

i don't know much about psp's or what they need, but maybe windows media player is not what you need for the psp. or you can download a newer version. maybe teh version you have right now is not fit to transfer files onto psp's
