In psychology and the social and behavioral sciences, aggression refers to behavior that is intended to cause harm or pain. Aggression can be either physical or verbal, and behavior is classified as aggression even if it does not actually succeed in causing harm or pain. Behavior that accidentally causes harm or pain is not aggression. Property damage and other destructive behavior may also fall under the definition of aggression. Aggression is not the same thing as assertiveness. Controlled aggression is the above negative behaviors is controlled but is remains in one’s heart like fire. It is bound to burst one day and do its work. Action may be termed in many ways and has lot of effects. Again disciplining the negative actions may become harmful in the long run.

We have to iron out our bad thoughts and should not get involved in negative and aggressive actions and by cultivating this habit we are not going to achieve any thing. To set our mind in this direction YOGA and meditation can be of help, in my opinion. -

I don't believe in controlled aggression simply because I liken it holding problems in a pressure cooker, after so much "controlling", the person will snap.

I believe in dealing with the problem right there and then. However your question is not too specific in regards to any situation.

I'm all for discliplined action. In methodical ways.
