Stop being her friend. You don't need a friend that treats you bad.

Well...you've heard this before, but if she's mean to you, then she's probably not being a true friend. Maybe give it a rest for awhile, put distance between you, don't hang out as much, see if she gets the hint. Maybe she takes you buying her stuff as an insult?? Hard to tell without knowing. Maybe her pride is hurt and she wants to make her own way. See what happens, maybe you won't have to confront her. You could just stop giving, but it sounds like you care too much to do that...
Good luck and thanks for being a good, kind friend, that's rare these days.

Some people have their pride and don't want to feel like a charity case. I would stop slipping money in her purse and buying stuff for her. She needs to feel that she can take care of herself. If she is still mean to you, then she is not your friend and you should break off all contact with her.

It is not your job to "support" her with slipping money in her purse and buying her stuff. You are validating that you do not think she is good enough. Back off and stop your philanthropy since it is degrading.....just be her friend and stay out of her personal family business, sweetie.....you sound pretty judgemental.

Spend time with her doing stuff taht she is used to. do not try to give her things. go the reasturants that she can afford, even if you pay for them.
do the best you can to hide your life. dont look outlandish, dont through ur weight around
think about this. something i need to work on actually. most wemon do not want you to spend lots of money on them. avoid the ones that do. rather, most wemon want to know you are thinking of them. a 5 dollar tedy bear will mean much more than a 50 dollar dress. stoping unexpectedly by her house before work just to say hi.
dont talk about money, yours or hers.talk about her, and the things she likes.

Honey money has nothing to do with a friendship but she may be jealous because you have stuff and she dont just come out and ask her whats the deal dont rub your money in her face though that could run her away

try to let the whole money thing slide:
I have friends who are poorer than me, and although I am lucky enough to never have them bring it up, just be careful what you say and do.
And don't let her catch you slipping money into her purse, because that could make her madder than ever.

Maybe she don't want to be reminded all the time of how much money you have. Just try being a friend.
