Well, the rules stated that the mother had to be a legal U.S. citizen, which she was not, and the prize money has to be awarded to the parents, not the baby, so I'd say that don't deserve it, simply because the mother did not meet the eligibility requirements.

Toys-R-Us should have checked her eligibility requirements before they let her participate in the tie-breaker, at that was a failure on their part, but they still shouldn't get the money.

It would be a tough decision ( publicity wise ), but you have to go by the contest rules.

Thats so mean!! She rightfully owns that money that runner up has!! She was born in the US give her the money!!

If the baby was born in the US doesnt that mean he/she is a US citizen?
