You first of all need to get yourself on a skin care regimen, morning and evening.

Cleanser, Toner, Moisturizer!

I recommend the product Dr. Weil's Plantidote Face Serum from Origins!!!!! It works wonders for discoloration. Its main ingredient are 3 great mushrooms, so it's the most natural approach you can take.

After you tonic your face you put on the Plantidote Face Serum and then the moisturizer. It works like a penicillin for your skin so after 1 bottle you really won't need it anymore. It takes a little while to see results, but I am pretty sure you will be happy when you do.

There are a couple of downsides to this product though. First off, it runs at about $60 bottle. I used it on my own skin to get rid of the dark marks a random pimple might leave behind. The first couple of weeks you use it, your skin may become a little more active than usual and you may break out.

Aside from those two little things I think you would be VERY satisfied with that product.

As for cosmetics, i recommend you avoid any heavy foundations or powders as a cover up and just fix the problem at hand. Discoloration is really one of those things that seems really noticeable to YOU personally, but most people don't notice.

If you don't have an Origins near by they have a website!

GOOD LUCK!!

The discoloration is probably sun damage. There are over-the-counter creams to lighten (or bleach) which work but are very weak. A dermatologist can give you something stronger. For clearer skin, drink plenty of water, avoid junk food, and avoid heavy cosmetics. If you must wear makeup, do so during the day and wash it off as soon as you get home.

lol i'm on the same boat with you there on the whole cosmetics advice but i've noticed my skin has cleared up a lot this past month since i've started tanning, working out regularly and drinking lots of water. i hear positives and negatives of tanning on clearing up your complexion, but working out and drinking water is great for it!! also finding a good moisturizer....k this prolly wasnt helpful but thats just what i've noticed lol
