well i like it because it entertains me.They also have some good storylines at times too.Some people love the storyline for the drama more than the actual wrestling itself.

I love some of the earlier answers.
People love entertainment. And sadly enough, pro wrestling is still more intelligent entertainment than most of the garbage on tv.
American Idol, Deal or No Deal, that show with Bob Sagat.
All of network tv is pro wrestling, just without the tights.

Every body gets a lot of money for making a hell of an impact!!
And the fans love it!!but wwe isn't true though!!They pay each other to do awesome things like example:a conversation between batista and the undertaker:-
Ok dead man i will pay you 2000$ if you let me do this and this and a batista bomb!
Ok batista I will pay you 3000$ to reverse your graple beat the s*** out of ya and do a tombstone pile driver and win the match!!
THAT IS HOW WWE WORKS IN MY OPINION!

Why do soap operas remain popular? It is still entertainment, with characters, a plot, and some action. It works for some people, myself not included.

It's like watching a t.v show or movie except this is live & right in front of you.It's like live theater ,it's a movie,a sporting event, & the circus all rolled into one & the ring is like a stage where everything happens.

Personally, because I got hooked on it as a kid and I love some of the storylines... But other people will probably say because John Cena is hot. Go figure.

It makes some adults feel like kids again. It makes some people feel like they are watching a soap opera, it has action, excitement and entertaining.
