OOh. .a grudge question. Lemmie guess...the "friend" is you? Perhaps S.R. feels that she/he doesn't have a responsibility to give up her/his every thought.

I don't name any names on the Internet, so we'll just call him "Northrup." He and I were a near-couple back in ninth grade. (By "near-couple," I mean, he was the closest thing I had to a boyfriend.) There was a definite attraction between us, but when my feelings for him were confirmed, he freaked out and "dumped" me. We don't really speak anymore.

my dad.....biggest wimp that ever walked. even as a kid grandpa use to talk about dad when him and I would be doing wood working. say something like " glad you are a man...your father is nothing more than a yellow back ".
my mom walked on him, his gf walked on him, his current wife, my step mom walks on him. he hates confrontation so he just bows to anyone that confronts or argues anything.
glad I didn't take after dad....I'm too stubborn...my backbone is titanium.
