Well first of all it is not WWF anymore. It is WWE and the E stands for Entertainment.
So now WWE themselves are admitting it is not a sport.
So since it is not a sport or game it does not have any rules.
Everything is rigged. The right word would be choreographed. Infact when they had come to Delhi a few years back, many have seen them practice and rehearse the bouts that were going to be fought.
Right now WWE has almost become a soap opera. With girlfriends cheating and sex.
I had seen a documentary on how WWF started. It started in fairs . Wrestling was a "Demonstration" there. The same player would go around the country losting and winning matches to entertain the crowd. They keep winning and losing to create a kind of "artificial" suspense and shock value. These wrestling firms consolidated and became what is known as WWF.
Many ago one of the founders totally exposed the working of WWF in the NEW york times when he was removed from the federation.
Time and again many reportes and newspaper exposes have proved that WWF or WWE are fake wrestling.
So from the above there are no rules at all. It is not a sport.
I dont know why people watch it.
Would you watch cricket, if the following scenario occured........Saurav Ganuly is batting and India needs four runs to win. He hits the ball in the air towards the boundary and there is Shoab Aktha waiting to catch it. As shaob going to catch Nagma(a film actress with whom saurav had allegedly had an affair) comes out of the stands and throw hot coffee on shaob Akthar..... he drops the catch....ball goes for a four.....and India wins the match.
Forget watching would they allow something like that in cricket or any other sport.
Well I rest my case.
So dont break your head about the rules it is not a sport at all.

You can punch, kick, headbut, elbow and strike with pretty much any other body part as long as you don't get too close to actually doing it. You can also grab and throw your opponent pretty much like regular wrestling. Managers, girlfriends or any other unannounced people could join in the festivies of helping you kick the crap out of someone at any moment. And if worst comes to worse (or even if not sometimes) you can always get a metal chair from outside the ring and give 'em the old pseudoblast with that!!!

its wwe(not wwf)well i don't think there are any rules except the basic
1. if you r hitting someone and he manages to hold the rope,u have to stop beating him.
2.if two or more players enter the one on one fights, the match is called off.
3. u cannot pull someone's hair or hit him below the belt.

and a advice:it is the fakest thing on TV being sold on the name of reality.stop watching it,cause its for children aged between 5-7 with immature brains
