It all depends what you consider easy and hard. For me, an easy major would be Recreation. A hard one would be Physical Chemistry.

There's truly no such thing. It also depends on the school. You can't compare a course in math you take at a Community College to a math course at USC or Cal. Also some subjects may come easier to some or take longer. There are some that may seem harder because they have more regs and take longer. A major in Electrical Engineering and Comp Sci, Molecular Cell Biology, Engineering would be some of the more difficult ones. And English, Poli Sci, History would be a little less stressful I guess not necessarily easy though, school is school. Look into a particular school and the majors they offer; then proceed to contacting the departmental office to speak to an advisor or maybe even a student in that major.

let's see....i'm a bio major, and no, it's not the easiest....i'm not sure the last time endocrinology became easy. how many sports players take bio? granted some intro bio classes are easy, but not if you stay in it as a major, the advanced classes are very hard.

anyway, that's how you see the easiest majors...the ones that the sports players take at schools where that sport is big. it's usually communications or a very general business.

hardest is probably in the sciences including a math; e.g., some type of advanced physics. other types of math/business are also very hard. e.g., acturial science

Heh...if you think biology classes are easy then you are obviously NOT a science major. I'm a biology major with an emphasis in clinical laboratory science, and the last time I checked, organic and inorganic chemistry wasn't easy. Microbiology was fun so it came kinda easy to me, and biochemistry wasn't all that easy either, nor was pre-calculus and calculus courses.
In my opinion, "easy" and "hard" courses are subjective, but for me, an "easy" major would be any kind of liberal arts, or buisiness, and "hard" majors would be anything in the maths and sciences, especially pre-med.

You might be able to get info from the college you're interested in attending.

Really though, "easy" and "hard" would be subjective, wouldn't it?? I mean, I love words so I enjoy English Lit classes. On the other hand, math and I aren't best friends. So for me, a calculus class (by the way, there is no calculus "major") would be terror. My daughter, on the other hand is a math wiz. I think she's on 4th year trig now. Yikes! She loves it; I would dread every day of it.

It depends what major you think it's the hardest and which major you think it's the easiest.
In my opinion, the hardest major would be "writing" and the easiest is "biology".

It depends on your own personal factors; What you are interested in, what knowledge you have, your talents and your aptitude. Everybody is different, so hard for one person may be extremely easy for someone else. Only you know what is best for yourself.
