To many people vote based only on the fact of being republican and Democrat. I know it's nearly, if not, impossible to get rid of it, but, anyone else want everything independent? I mean based on opinion. Everythings screwed up.

I don't mind the two party system, but that is/was when the two parties stood for different styles/approaches to government. Now, it is sometime impossible to tell the difference.

I'm tempted to say I would like to see more independents, as they usually have a strong stance on certain issues and plan to STICK with what they say. Rep and Dem just try to say and act like they think people want them to act instead of standing up for certain core beliefs.

I believe there is now room for a new party(s). A group who has defined beliefs and attitudes that they remain faithful to.

I don't know which party is responsible for intstituting the legislation that exist regarding the treatment of third party entities but it would be interesting to know. One such piece, deals with not allowing third party candidates from participating in debates. Our mass media has alot of leeway in such debates and they've chosen to keep the status quo nationally and moreover locally.

I don't want to sign up with a party at all. We're all individuals and do not necessarily agree with any idealism nor any particular set of values.
