Only G-d knows, and I am not so presumptuous to say what His intentions are.

Please go to the religious section unless you have a Gay related question.

For your information, I was a minister for 14 years from the age of 14 up. I did preaching work for 45 hours a month, so yes, I know my Bible and yes, I'm gay.

Sorry, its just that I quit Ministerial work because I didn't want to be a hypocrite, and now on Yahoo! that's all I deal with. Forgive me.

Yes, look at the night sky, the branches in a tree, the waves on the beach, the music from a stereo, all these things are constructed, mathmatically they can be broken down to fractals. This is DESIGN at its BEST. It wasn't random, there was a hand involved and I can only describe it as God.

God was created by man to fill a hope that there is more to life than just death and nothingness. I am Buddhist and we believe that there is a hereafter for the soul. We believe that each life is a learning experience towards our soul's perfection until we reach enlightment...or heaven when we become part of the universe. God, as the Christians believe, is a harsh god, full of contempt for his own creations, and striking down innocents. We believe differently as we think that each life has problems to be solved by our own deeds in compensation for past errors. The Christian God demands devout loyality or eternal damnation...we believe that everyone can screw up...."Jesus saves...Buddha recycles".

There are many gods. Anything you pledge your allegiance to can become your god.

There is however an All Mighty God. His name is Jehovah! The Bible doesn't attempt to prove His existence. People accept Him by faith, those of us that do.

One thought to ponder would be this: For a "Supreme Being", whom we call God, not to exist would be strange because our belief teaches us that we were made in His image, therefore, He is in us. He so over reigns (Sovereignty) us that He has been on man's mind since the beginning of time. There is not a civilization who did not ponder this same exact question.

I believe that God put that question on your mind. You never hear of intelligent, logical people questioning the existence of the Easter Bunny, Toothe Fairy or Satan (Santa) Claus. People tend to realize these figures exist in the imaginary world of make-believe and no one challenges this, but God is always questioned.

He exsists. But, he will never show himself to us. Nor will he interfer here on Earth. The only thing why everything happens the way it happens. Is because God gave us the best gift of all. Free Will.

He will never answer your prayers. You need to do things on your own. Believe in God or not that is called Faith.

So is there a God? Yes there is. Can you tell me what you know about God? Free Will is all you need to know.

Tell you what I know about God?... Oh, God, what a broad question! ;)
I'm a strong and confident believer in God. I KNOW He exists, I know He created you, me, and everyone/everything else besides us. I know that He's in charge of all that goes on and that nothing happens unless He wills for it to happen. I also know that He has given us the free will to do as we wish but He has still warned us that we will be the ones suffering the consequences of our negative actions and that we will be the ones rewarded for our good deeds. I know, too, that He multiplies blessings and that when you repent to Him for your bad actions/thoughts, He forgives you and washes ALL of your sins, and it's as though you're a newborn, spiritually speaking, so long as you don't repeat those sins you've committed; besides this, when it comes to punishment, He does NOT multiply your punishment. I know that He's the Most Just Judge and that no human can imagine what God looks like. From time to time, it's really, really hard to understand what God is all about, but as long as you know He cares about you and loves you more than your own mother loves you, He'll be there for you. I know all of this because everything I've ever asked for has been given to me by God; those things that He didn't give me, He tells me (in the Holy Book that I follow--The Quran) that it's only because what I'm asking for will not be good for me and He knows me far too well so He knows what's good for me and what's not.... Hence, believe and know that God knows you more than you yourself or someone else can ever know you.
God really does exist; He's there, He's here, He's everywhere.... You just have to FEEL His existence. Things can't have been created by themselves..... I mean, look at nature, for instance. Do you sincerely think that plants were made by themselves, or that we humans were made by ourselves? No. God made humans and plants and all other things.... Everything around you is created for YOUR benefit.... And that's why God tells us to worship Him and Him only because only He's worthy of being worshipped; that's why He tells us to praise Him, to thank and appreciate Him constantly for all the blessings He's bestowed upon us, and to ask for anything we want to because there's absolutely no limit of what He gives His creation.
Oh, and the most important thing I know about Him is that... He is and will be to you the way you conceive Him to be. I mean, if you think He's Kind and Merciful and Loving, then that's exactly how He will be to you!!! If you think He's Cruel and Unjust, then that's how He will be to you.....So, try to have a very positive conception of Him! He's Kind, for sure!
....Even if a person doesn't believe in God, I personally think (as I read this somewhere) that it's best to live life believing God exists and dying to find out that no He doesn't exist rather than NOT believing in His existence only to die and find out that He does exist..... Then what? You've nothing to lose to believe in Him, do ya? Whatever He tells you to do, it's ONLY for your benefit-- cause He knows what's beneficial to you and what's not. So just be obedient to Him, and be kind to others!
Anyway, May God bless you! :D

He is in you, inside your mind. He tells you what is right and wrong. He is the hidden voice that tells you do to the right stuff. But most of the time you won't listen to your mind and intend to listen to your heart. Because your heart have what we call the desire. And the desire will rule you because you are weak or should I say you choose to be weak. You are given a choice to choose but also given the right answers. He only guide you but it's your choice to do the right or the wrong.

I don't think that if a god does exist he exists in the realm of organized religion--all of which only wants to profit off of it.
