Try Cetaphil cream. Very moisturizing, and less worry of allergic reaction. Plus no overwhelming fragrance.

My pediatrician recommended it for my son's eczema when he was 2 months, but we've been using it ever since.

If you mean baby lotion, I think it's fine to use. I used baby lotion all the time after they are born. Just check the labels on the bottle and see if they have an age group on it; some do, some don't.
If you were refering to sunscreen, I started using sunscreen for kids and babies when my daughter turned 1. I was a bit wary to use it before that because they suck their arms and legs, and everything they can get in their mouth. Again, I would check the labels. If it says kids, i think it's fine. That is what my midwife said anyway. Same with insect repellant. AFter 1.

Yes it is, I've been using Johnson's lavender & chamomile calming lotion from the time my daughter has been home from the hospital and she's 15 months now.

If it is baby lotion, yes, If not, it is okay to use a little other lotions on the arms and legs if there is no allergies. But, I would suggest lotions with no perfume or alcohol.

We use baby lotion all the time on our 15 month old son. I say as long as they aren't allergic to it, it does help keep their skin soft and not dry.
