you 9/11 conspiracy theorists are wack jobs. This segment is on the History Channel right now and you think you know more about 9/11 than the 9/11 Commission Report which never even insinuated the Government was involved. You people are just Bush haters so filled with hate you lie! You pathetic idiots are a poor excuse for Americans.

Terrorists attacked the WTC.
To purport anything else is an insult to those who died.
Terrorists attacked the WTC.
There will never be a way to completely prove otherwise.
Terrorists planned the attack, they trained for the attack, and they carried out the attack.
There is no other conclusion.

Save your breath, you will never convince anyone who believes 9/11 was a conspiracy that it wasnt. Think about it, if seeing with their own two eyes the planes hit the towers, Bin Laden repeatedly taking credit for it, and all the other mountains of evidence linking Al-Qaida to 9/11 what chance to do you have.

The belief in this conspiracy stems from a few possible sources. The most common is a cognitive dissonance. This is when the mind has two contradicting ideas and the person must therefore recognicile the two contrasting beliefs. In this case Bush/US Govt is protecting us from terrorism and deserves credit for that but on the other hand they hate Bush/US govt therefore they must change one of these beliefs. They choose to beleive Bush/US govt was behind 9/11.

Another source is that people feel uncomfortable with this shadowy terrorist enemy that they cannot see or do anything about. They much rather pretend that the real enemey is the US govt or Bush, that way they can do something to protect themselves like protesting, going on crazy web sites, etc.

Finally, there is good old fashion snobbery. You see it makes them feel special that they know something that you dont, they feel smarter then you because you have been duped into buying the mainstream explination. Because your not as smart as the conspiracy buff you cant figure it out.

Because you are dealing with such powerful physcological forces your arguments no matter how logical or persuassive will fall on deaf ears.

I agree with you on all your points but I'm forced to also concede that the guy who wrote that you are wasting your time is correct. I forget who it was that said that you can lead a swine to truth but you can't make it think but they might as well have been describing the 9/11 conspiracy freaks to a T. They don't want and can't handle the truth because it destroys the fantasy world that they live in. Heck of a try on your part though and don't give up the fight.

Conspiracy theorist give the government plausible deniable to monitoring of these nut-jobs....

It's a fact the majority of terrorist incidents in the US have been committed by left wing groups. The tactics and organization of conspiracy theorist are a classic example of the first phases of an insurgency. This, plus the six degrees of separation from know leftist terror groups is all that is needed...

I would not say that your question is stupid, but it is right up there. Let me ask you something,

If you was investigating a major crime, what would be the first thing you would do? Protect the crime scene, right? Now, if you was a criminal what would be the first thing you would want to do? Get rid of the evidence, Right?

Now look at Waco. They hauled it off as soon as they could, buried it, and put a fence around it. Why?
Look at the Murrah building in OKC. They hauled it off as soon as they could. Why?

Now look at the WTC. They hauled it off and I can understand why, but they sent the steel to China just as fast as they could. Why?

I bet you even believe the Warren's Commission about the magic bullet theory in the death of JFK.

You should not have to search for truth, but search for facts and the truth will present itself.

You probably would not be so bad if you were not so near sighted and closed minded

I was a lowley courier in the 1990's . I frequented airports and even escorted packages on airline flights. I pondered the question what if? If the terrorist flew into the towers. If I did I'm sure those in government did.

make sure you also watch "screw loose change," to get both sides of the story. the ppl at popular mechanics put it together to debunk "loose change."

(successfully, i might add.)

oh, btw, i do not find it hard to believe that all these ppl predicted this. from the time of the first WTC bombing in 1993, the terrorists were adament that they would bring the towers down. apparently noone believed them, except the few who really listened. so i tend to take it seriously when i hear these same people shouting "death to america!"

The history channel is reliable but NBC, ABC, and CBS aren't?

You conservatives must put out a daily list of acceptable news sources.

No one in the 9-11 truth movement denies that planes hit the buildings. Everything else is a fairy tale.

So many are claiming to have predicted 911 that I find it hard to believe that had so called intuition of that event. As a matter of fact, it seems that the media and the American government is trying to rabble-rouse the rest of the world into Muslim-phobia.

First, I would like to say I am a Republican who is totally disgusted with the vast majority of users on this forum who call themselves Republicans.
Here are my observations and opinions about them;
1: They would rather put their own self interests in this president, ahead of the interests of this Nation.
2: They would rather clone, reticule, and demean those who would try to bring serious discussion to this forum, than debate them on their own merits.
3: They also seek to report in an attempt to undermine those stated in #2 in an effort to have those facts removed.
4: and final, history will remember those who stood by while this Nation was robbed, lied to, and stolen from and those that defended those very practices
