We met on the net chatted the first month, chatted on the phone the next month. The third month he came to visit for three days, stayed in a hotel. We clicked, went to church together prayed together. Came back after Christmas for a week, he brough me a beautiful gold necklace (heart w/diamonds) I didn't buy a present and he said that I was his present. He has been a perfect gentleman and I find that I really care about him. He is already talking about a future together, he retires Dec. We are both over 60 and plan to go on a vacation week after next to his home state. We have a lot in common and he treats me like a queen and I treat him like a king and we both believe in God, and even brought in the new Year at church together praying. We even know what each other is thinking most of the times, and laugh about it. Am I dreaming? we are both divorced, he has no children I have a grown child and grandchildren who live out of state so there are no hinderances. Appreciate your answer..

Are you sure it is love at first sight . . . I know it is not lust, even though it is possible.

As to finding love on the interest, that is possible too . . . me, I met my beloved on-line (Rest her soul). And we didn't arrange a meeting until after we accidently seen each other. Confusing, well not really, she was afraid of sending pictures and she didn't want me to send pictures, because she knew if I send pictures, she would have to send some too. So, we didn't even know how each other look. So, one weekend she was going out of town and so was I. She didn't tell me where she was going, but I told her that a friend invited me to a wedding, and he wants me to take pictures. (I do not take pictures for a living, even though I do have an extensive set-up.) So, asked if I could send her some copies of the wedding photo and she will send some of her trip . . . the key criteria was that we could send pictures of ourselves. That was easy for me since I was behind the camera most of the time.

When it came to the day of sending the pictures, I sent first. And she replied via e-mail, how did you get these pictures. I didn't know what she was talking about. There are several pictures of me. And I went . . . what? Then she sent some pictures that she took with her little camera, and one of them was taking pictures of someone else. An unplanned meeting, at that moment we started talking more seriously . . . and a couple of trips visiting each other (each in our respected countries), we got engaged and later married.

Internet relationship, don't always work . . . but with the world the way it is today. It is very difficult to meet people, especially when you are too busy with work and everything else. Going out to clubs . . . has gone slightly out of phase, unless you are only looking for a booty call. So the internet, is the only place where people could meet and try to be themselves, unfortunately there are a lot of posers (fakers), who still pretend to be king of the world. Many are just looking for breasts to see on the cam (to me, those are the biggest losers in the world - because they don't have game to see them in live). There are very few real people . . . Me, I got to be where I am, being who I am . . . and it seem like so has your boyfriend and you.

I wish you both the best of luck . . . and happy trails.

Good luck, sounds like you found a keeper. :)

I met my boyfriend on the internet by pure chance, I never believed in fate or anything like that, but I do now. We talked through email/IMs for about a year as friends, then started talking on the phone, and met in person 2 months later and we just clicked, things were so perfect, it scared me. We've been together ever since and that was 4 years ago.

I also have a cousin who met his wife in a Christian chatroom. They seem very happy and compatible together and have 2 children now.

The question is do you believe God send you this man? Go in prayer and ask God is this the man he send you?

Why I ask you this is because you went and stay in a hotel with a man that you met on the Internet. If you and this person slept together, it is a sin. God said, Marriage before sex. God don't work like that. God is a God of Love.

Remember went God send you someone, he will be of God and that means know hotel stay. If nothing happen that is good

Remember the devil gives good gift to, but he add or take away someing. Watch out for Satan. Everything that look good isn't good.

I will be praying for God to send a man of God into your life. GOD BLESS!!!!

You sound very much in love, and I think you are in awe of what has happened to you.. Yes, be in awe, you have every right to be, you have been given a wonderful gift and also be thankful you have been given this second-chance in happiness.. Get to meet his home-state, get him to meet your grown child and grandchildren.. Life is too short to wonder and ponder, analyze and debate, take what we receive each day as gifts from heaven.. Good Luck and may you be blessed with Future Happiness.. Let us know how it goes.

Anything is possible.

Recently, I found a site of a couple who met online, talked for months, got married and now have a baby - and are very happy, compatible and have a strong relationship.

It may be somewhat unusual to some people, but then again, it's not THEIR relationship, it's yours.

All the best to you! :)

Age doesn't matter when you find that one true love...which seems like it's what you found. Life is too short; live it to the fullest!!! Be happy, God bless you both and may your relationship flourish to an everlasting romance.

Hey, sounds great! I met my husband on the Internet, too - couldn't be happier. Sure, there's no guarantees - any relationship involves risks, but the rewards are great as well. Have fun and enjoy. Good for you.
