Victoria is a very pretty name plus it sounds very nice for a baby, toddler, little girl, teenager, young lady, woman and senior citizen. It is one of the very few names that sound good no matter age you are. It is a great name it is also very regal. I am Hispanic and there is a very gorgeous Spanish soap star and her name is Victoria Ruffo. She is very popular. Hope i helped.

I heard some where that Victor/Victoria, means Victory! It's a strong name as well as beautiful, in the female sense.

Sounds very regal. (Sorry...couldn't resist.)
The only thing I ever tell anybody about names is to make sure the initials are not going to spell anything silly, that'll get the kid teased growing up. Victoria Anne Taylor, for example, would be VAT.
I went to school with kids whose initials spelled DUD (Daniel Ulysses Donaldson), GAB (Grant Avery Brooks), and TIT (Trina Irene Thompson). And Lord, did we give them hell....

I think that it's a little too delicate/ladylike for my taste, but I know a lot of girls who are named Victoria and they love it! I, personally, like Kaelyn (KAY-lin), Cadence or Camrynn............

It is a very strong name. It sounds dominating (maybe because it's from a Queen from the 19th century)

I like it. It sounds like royalty. Very sophisticated. But I don't like Vicky. My nieces watch this cartoon where they sing a song called "Icky Vicky". = )
