I feel as if my entire life is crumbling around me. I was just notified today that even though I tried to get caught up on my second mortgage that the bank is starting forclosure action anyway, after takeing several payments from me. My husband just found out that his drivers license has been suspended for three months. I can't afford to pay car insurance, medical insurance so I have neither. Now I am worried that I will lose my home on top of everything else. What will I do, where will we all live. If it was just me, I wouldn't be so worried. I have two teenagers who I must have shelter for. My credit score is so bad that I'm worried if I lose my house I would not even be approved to get an apartment. On top of everything else I found out that we owe the IRS 6K in back taxes, which must be paid by the end of the month. Hah! Someone please tell me that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that it's not going to be a train.

It does sound like you have alot of complications but since none of your situations occurred overnight, I'd say that you had a clue this was coming. The main issue is that you are living in a house that's too expensive which is why you cannot keep up with the payments but also you are trying to live a lifestyle that you cannot afford. It's time to come up with a plan on how to either increase income or reduce expenses and it's not too late. Bankruptcy might be an option for you. Consumer Credit Counseling might be another. I am providing a link below for you to investigate on where there's a local CCCS agency near you. Obviously you cannot budget on your own. You may want to ask those teens to help out with part time jobs to at least cover some of their expenses if nothing else. I don't think that losing the house is going to hurt you ... it might be a good way to free up your income to afford a less expensive place to live. Stop spending above your means. You will never get ahead if you are paying for things you want instead of things that you need. The last thing in the world you need is more debt so don't even think about trying to get a loan... you cannot afford your lifestyle. It's time to make changes. Get a part time job... take in a boarder... sell things you have around the house... do whatever it takes. It's all going to start with a plan. This agency works with credit counseling agencies:

I have some sympathy for you, but not for driving without car insurance. That is not fair to every other driver on the road.

Contact www.naca.com They are a non-profit housing advocacy group that does it's own lending. They sometimes stop forclosures if you have predatory lending, but I don't know a lot about it. I do know that they took on a bank and sued them and got a big settlement so they use that money to help other people get and keep their houses.

You need to stop feeling sorry for yourself and being a victim. Get ahold of yourself and face it head on and deal with it, you can figure it out, there are always options. Teenagers can get jobs and help with the finances, too.

Good luck

Go talk to your bank loan officer as For the IRS Check the phone book for JK Harris & Company a firm that uses former IRS agents. or go to http://www.jkharris.com . It would appear that fairly recently the IRS has enbarked on demanding immediate payment from people for back taxes. There are solutions. Your banker appears to be worried about the IRS siesing your property. So get in touch with J.K. Harris and Company and they can get the dogs called off and you can solve your problems.
