This just happened to me!!!! LITERALLY! Tell your friend to report it to Ebay, and if they paid by paypal tell them to put a claim in or else they won't get their money back. I am still having mine investigated! I was had for over $100! If the seller doesn't make contact with Ebay or Paypal then your friend will Definately be reimburst, but REPORT IT AND PUT IN THE CLAIMS!!! On the myebay page on the bottom left corner it'll say Dispute claim Click on that and follow the prompts!! Hope this helps!!

She needs to email the seller. Always try communicating with the seller first. Did she pay with Paypal? If so, she can contact them. If after a couple of weeks she still doesn't get the item make sure she leaves negative feedback describing the situation. Feedback is so important. It can make or break a seller or a buyer.

File a complaint with Ebay. And be sure to leave negative feed back.

First attempt to contact the seller. If they respond ask for proof that it was sent (receipt of shipping?). If he does not prove any meaningful answers report him to e-bay and give him a bad rating explaining in detail what transpired. Avoid "angry language" and use good vocabulary and people will take you more seriously. Also report the abuse to what ever method you used to pay (credit card, pay pal, what ever).

file a complaint with ebay AND the credit card company (or whatever form of payment your friend used), in terms of fraud (or along those lines). also, check the post office one last time, just to make sure. good luck!
