i find that it helps if i have a really dried out mascara that you would use anymore as a base coat sort of thing to seperate them a bit.. then after put a thin layer of your proper mascara on (gently wipe the brush first to get rid of excess mascara).. once that has dried you can add a final layer and they shouldn't clump together x

I like Benefit Bad Gal ($18) and Bourjois Talons Aguilles ($13). As far as separating I just use an old (clean) brush from another mascara and comb through lashes before the mascara is completely dry.

Personally my favorite mascara has always been Maybelline's Waterproof Volum' Express Turbo Boost. Though it is waterproof, I have not had any problems with it -just use a good/gentle eye-makeup remover. In comparison I have tried many others -even Bad Girl Lash from Benefit (a higher quality brand) but they fail to add any emphasis to my lashes or hold up a curl after I use a curler. It doesn't clump either. I highly advise you to try it!

I've tried just about every mascara that comes out. This is the best one hands down. I like the formula and the brush. For the clumping problem purchase an eyelash comb. You can get one for less than a buck.

The BEST mascara that I have found is Lancome Definicils High Definition Mascara, I use Black/Noir. It costs about $19.00, but lasts for a long time, worth every penny! With mascara to get those perfect eyelashes you sometimes have to spend a little bit more than the average make-up price. The cheaper brands usually start to flake off mid-day. But you can look online and find it for cheaper probably.

Cover Girl has this mascara called Marathon-it's waterproof and has a curved brush, making it easier to apply. You also need less, so it will last the three months until you need to replace it. It's, like $6 at Walgreens (Green tube). You can also get an eyelash brush to separate your lashes, or you can use a simple safety pin. (BE CAREFUL!!!)

I have tried innumberable numbers of mascara. The best one is Helena Rubenstein. I went to Germany to get it so i don't know if you'll find it here. I think it is costly but it is well worth it because it is amazing!! Makes you look like those commercial lashes

Chanel. i model and they always put it on us. it never clumps is not waterproof (which can break your lashes off over time) and never travels. the newest one been in use with me for about two months is inimitable. it's really nice. it runs thirty dollars i think but is well worth it. you can find it at any major department store. macy's nordstoms strawbridges and neiman marcus or go to the site below and buy it from chanel directly. i have linked right to the product
