Tunya is very ugly (it wouldn't read as tonya or tanya), but i personally like Tanya the best for a girl, Tonia the second best (though the name itself is very very old fashioned and country sounding.

Just remember that name will always be associated with Tonya Harding! As for my opinion I think it's a white trash sounding name. I say go with Tanya that way it's close but a little more updated

I think that the name is a little dated, just personal opinion, but I like the spelling Tonya better.

tonya is a good name for a baby girl but i would spell it Tonia...it is a bit of a different spelling

honestly he name is not a very good name for a girl i mean its a bit out dated but if thats the name you wish to name your child i would spell it Tonya.

i think Tanya is a good way to spell it. it sounds very cute. My daughters name is very unique thats what i went for with her name. so if u want unique then spell it tunya.
