Ghost Experiences?

Question

Has anyone had an encounter with a ghost?
So, what happened...good or bad...doesn't matter.

i had what i thought was a dream, i was in my own room i live in california and there was a little girl named amy who was crying, i played games with her to make her feel better and she told me she lived in arizona but remembers a horrible pain while out with her mom and the last thing she remembers was her mom crying over her and the next hing she knows shes in a wierd room (my room) the next day on my way to school i take a public bus there is a man who always takes the bus and is schitzophrenic came up to me and said "amy wants to play with you again soon and left the bus. that night i got a recorder and i did a little meditating and tried to talk to her while recording (heard it works from a friend) it didnt work but when i played the tape over i heard a girls voice giggle and it sounded like "you're funny" some wierd things happen around here eversince i been in this house like things moving and once a glass cover exploded out of no where, i think she is stll here but not sure if its coinsedence or true, what confuses me is how that man on the bus knew amy i never talked to him in my life and if she is real why did she go from arizona to california and why to me?

I can't see ghosts but I can smell them. They smell like burnt coffee.

I bought a house that had a fire. Two little boys died in the fire. One of the boys would play with my 4 year old son. We just thought he had an imaginary playmate. Every morning at 6:45, the smell would wake me.

The fire and the deaths were not disclosed to me when we bought the house. One afternoon about 6 months after we moved in, the neighbor accross the street introduced herself and asked me if there was anything strange going on in the house. She told me the story about the fire and how the boys crawled into the tub in the upstairs bathroom and died. The fire department was called around 6:45 in the morning.

Sure enough, I verified the story and inspectors crawled under the house and found evidence of a big fire. We moved the next day.

I have several times over the years. I have been touched, heard, and even saw one a few months ago.
I have some stories on the site Shadowlands.
In my old house, we could hear footsteps coming up the stairs from the basement. Once I heard my dog come running up the stairs, because I could hear his nails clicking on the tile in the kitchen as he ran around the corner, came into my bedroom and plopped down at the foot of my bed as he always did. He pulled part of the bedspread down to lay on too, as usual. Only thing was, he had been dead for about a year.
My children and I had experienced our pillows being pulled and yanked out from under our heads. When taking a shower downstairs, I could hear someone pacing upstairs above my head, only I was home alone and all the doors were locked.
Where I am at now, I experienced someones hand pushing down on my pillow to look at my face. I also felt a hand on my rear that was poking out from under the blankets, and this happened a few times. My son hears footsteps in the hall, and has had the tv pop on and off and the vcr too. Just about 4 months ago, I saw a shadow standing in my doorway while I was on the computer. It was a guy with buzzed hair and not too tall. He stood there like he was looking at me for a few mintues. I couldn't see a face, it was just a shadow. My son wasn't home, so I was home alone with our dog. He didn't bark or act up either. I saw the shadow dash away, and got up to see who it was, and no one was out there anywhere. I didn't hear footsteps either. Also this home I live in now was my brothers before he died. He was a Marine at one time. He was also short. Nothing bad has ever happened though. If it did, I'd be outta here in a flash. LOL
There are several books about death and dying. My mother and father both passed away from Cancer over 6 years apart, and both saw people they didn't know had previously died. Mother was visited several times by one brother and a sister who both died. My father was visited by 2 men he worked with, one he knew was dead the other he didn't. It confused him too. This is all quite common and a lot of nurses and Drs too feel that there is life after death, too many things like this occur. I worked in a nursing home, and had a female patient tell me she was going home that day. I told her I would check at the desk, and I could come and help her pack her things. I left her a tray of food, and when I checked at the nurses desk they told me she wasn't going home, ever. When I did go get her tray, she was dead. She went home, but not the home here.

Once I was really sick and my grandfather came to be by my side The tricky thing was he had been dead for 2 years, he kissed me on the forehead and touched my cheek and I woke up the next morning like I had been in perfect health my whole life.

Also one time when I was very depressed over the loss of my father he came to me and stood at the foot of my bed holding a small child telling me that he was doing just fine and he was taking care of the child that I had lost a few years before. and the thing to this story is that my brother had seen the same thing the same night and we were in different houses at the time.

You know, according to a book published here in the Philippines, ghost are, either devils or souls who needs prayers. If the ghost you encountered is weird (like monster,etc),it is a devil. Ghost stories are kindda silly (opinion only!).

lol i have two living with me there one that seems to pull pranks like bathroom in my bedroom door was locked when i went to school i'm the only one with a key and no window come in that evening and 4 rolls of toilet paper was thrown all around and there's one that seems pure evil every one in my house has seen it (me, my mom, cousins, aunts, friends) you can only see it out of the very corner of you eye you can never see it's eyes but it's tall black has on a coat and a hat and it seems that when you see it you ever get very scared or very angry. my cousin had a encouter going to the bathroom now he carries a bible with him into there lol. There's this one room in the house and anyone who sleeps in there has the worst nightmares you could imange i've only had 2 before i slept in there and one night i did (16 yrs old at the time) and to this day i will not sleep in that room (and i don't scare easily) my house has been exoricted 3 times by a whole church group it one time while they was doing it the fish tank busted. It will clear out for about 6 months and appears again.
