Ok i have a regular 29 day cycle and its on time every month. which can be really hard when you are ttc and hoping every month it doesnt show up. I have been ttc for 5 months now. i follow my mucus and have been doing my research and doing the Calendars and trying to figure it out. It has been really hard becuase when i follow the Calendars they all tell me different dates and that is really confusing how do u follow them? every one tells you different dates you might be ovulating.. and i know it takes time and patients but what am i doing wrong? we have sex every other day during my ovulation period and im still not pregnant we are both healthy.

Same thing going on with me. I actually am late by one day so I have my fingers crossed. If my menstrual does come, my doctor convinced me to try an ovulation kit. May be a lil costly but it pin points ovulation 1-2 days before it occurs. Cant go wrong with that. But don't give up!

I am in the EXACT same boat as you! My Dr. is awesome though, and he told me to stop looking at the calendars online, and follow my body. Your body is not a machine, so how can a machine predict when you will ovulate. I haev begun charting using TCOYF software, and I have since learned that the time from when my temps go up to when I get my perios is always 13 days, not the 14 that is "typical" and the time from getting my period to ovulation changes for me each month. (also normal) if you are under 25, you have a 96% chance of conceiving in a year. The average couple takes 6 months to conceive, and to get that average, it means that some couples took one month, and some took 12! You are still well within the normal range, so you should rest easy and have fun "doing it"!
