World Cup of soccer, or the Stanley Cup of hockey?

I would have to say world cup... I mean come on the world is competing against one another and the world is watching. soccer is quickly becoming the sport everyone wants to play cause if you look at it more high schools have soccer teams than they did 5 years ago. Thirty-two teams from across the globe make up the field for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ finals. Six continents are represented. where else besides the olympics do you get nations and continets competing aginst one another

i would say the stanley cup simply because every one who wins it gets their name etched in the trophy, if it gets too big, the extra rings are put in the hockey hall of fame in toronto. so it kind of immortalizes you forever.

the harley earle trophy for winning the daytona 500, or the lombardi trophy for winning the super bowl
