im a Cap and my best friend is a Leo but we are ALWAYS fighting. is it just a horoscope thing? or are we really just dorks.

I'm a Capricorn and way back when my best friend was also a Leo. We were friends since Kindergarten-through until about the 9th grade when she wanted to hang out with the 'in' crowd. She really changed. I was all about work, and she was all about showing off and caring what other people thought of her.
My true node is in Aquarius, so I came into this life with all these Leo traits already. I got rid of her and got on with my life. She was so conceded-never really paying attention to our friendship-drove me nuts asking me if 'there was anything on her pants,' how does her hair look...OMG...give it a BREAK!
It probably has more to do with your communication signs (Mercury) about your fighting, along with your Mars signs (that rules fighting ability).
It is a horoscope thing....have you ever met someone that you just instantly disliked? Without even having a legitimate reason?? There is a reason-something in their chart is squaring or opposing something in yours.
It could also be that a planet is bringing up these quarrels...for you guys to either recognize them and grow from them, or to bring about a separation...

Capricorn With Leo:
Leo will think Capricorn stingy with affection because Capricorn's reserved, undemonstrative nature cannot give Leo the adoration it needs. Neither will take a back seat nor let the other be dominant. The Capricorn has the tendency to be of suspicious motives, while Leo will wholeheartedly enter the arena with no thought of consequences. It depends, because I know so many Leos and they love attention. Capricorns will give you the attention if they feel you deserve it. Capricorns can be pretty picky on who they will accept into their lives(my older sister is the perfect example of a Capricorn woman). The men are not so crucial like the women can be, but very fatherly more than so affetionate, and Leos are just out there, constantly in the spot light, love being praised and acknowledged, and Capricorns easily get annoyed with people like that. Capricorns are somewhat like Scorpios, they both don't like many people and only give affection, or praise to people they feel deserves their praise. Capricorn is also more calm, reserved even, and Leo will find it boring, and selfish.
But me, I like Leos a lot more than Capricorn because they get involved with others, aren't too critical like Capricorns, and are very generous, and loyal friends. I love my Capricorn family members, they do stay loyal to family. My younger sister is a Gemini and her boyfriend is a Capricorn, he's a little abnoxious, and he can't stand my sister sometimes. Still they've been together for a year and some months.

Leo males take patience and they are similar to the Caps personality in a way, because Caps can be cold and stubborn as such a way as Leos. Ppl has to just know how to deal with the distant from Leos and Me ways, but who doesn't just think of them, cause male caps can be selfish as well, I don't go along well with cap men, and I am a cap female.

Well, Capricorn and Leo form what is called an inconjunct. There will always adjustments that will need to be made in this relationship. Since you specified friendship, you are naturally shy and insecure to begin with, because you have hurts to deal with. You admire your friend's outgoing qualities. But believe it or not, your friend has ego problems to deal with, and their own problems with insecurity. Both stem from parental or family issues. Ask your friend if he/she does not think you are overbearing and trying to parent them, act too old for your years, and need to lighten up. Chances are your friend wears glasses, or has heart/back problems. Actually, it's a good combination. Because Capricorn is secretly thinking, Please don't hurt me, I've been hurt enough in my life. And Leo is thinking the same thing, only they're too proud to admit it. If you fight, it's because your Leo friend refuses
to listen to you , thinking you are trying to boss them. When in fact, nothing could be further from the truth; you are only trying to spare them from the hurt you have experienced. And later in life, you will hear from that friend thanking you for being there for them when they needed you. Because see, the problem with Leos is that they're too proud to admit that they need anybody. So they act arrogant and quarrelsome instead, rather than admit their weakness.

you can definatly get along. you guys probably have lots in common, u just kind of get tied up in arguing to really understand that.
